About
South East Eyecare
Dr. Sarah Sliva opened South East Eyecare in 2011 with the goal of providing all patients with complete eyecare and eyewear needs and ensuring that every patient is treated with respect. Dr. Amanda M. Olsen joined the office as an associate in August of 2017. In January of 2019, South East Eyecare opened a satellite office (formerly Moser Eyecare Center) in Carnduff to continue to provide optometric care to Carnduff and surrounding area.
We welcome both returning and new patients to our Estevan or Carnduff locations. Our focus is you… we want to provide exceptional optometric care for you and your family. In our dispensary we focus on providing you with product at the best price possible. We are confident you will be able to find products to suit your style and products that are affordable.
South East Eyecare is excited to be a teaching and learning site for students of the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry & Vision Science. Interns spend fifteen weeks working side-by-side with both Dr. Sliva and Dr. Olsen, learning both clinic techniques and patient care.
In 2023, South East Eyecare was honored to be awarded the Outstanding Service of the Year award at the Estevan Chamber of Commerce's Estevan Business Excellence Awards for our commitment to patient care. Dr. Sliva and Dr. Olsen would not be able to provide the level of service that we strive for without the incredible team of staff that we have, who work to understand and meet the needs of each of our patients.
At South East Eyecare we care for our community. We are happy to donate and sponsor various community events, programs and give back to the community that we call home.
We invite you to visit our Estevan clinic and enjoy the natural sunlight or stop in at our Carnduffclinic, located inside the Tony Day Medical Clinic. We would welcome the opportunity to have you as a patient and hope that you will enjoy our service, products and friendly staff at both of our locations.
We understand that travelling for health care can be a burden, and at South East Eyecare, we strive to offer the services and care that our communities require. We are proud to provide additional care in the areas of Vision Therapy, Myopia Management, Dry Eye and Specialty Contact Lenses.
